This event aims to educate and empower women by exploring how nutrition, psychological well-being, and mindfulness can help manage the challenges of menopause. By providing practical tools and insights, we hope to foster a supportive community and inspire healthier, more balanced lives. Participants will sample food options that support healthy nutrition during menopause. Vegetarian and nut free options will be provided.
In this workshop:
Mindful Meditation led by Kanan
Nutrition & Menopause Talk: Learn how food affects hormones, what to eat and avoid, and the importance of hydration.
Cooking Demo: Watch, taste, and take home recipes for menopause-friendly meals.
Attendees will leave with a laminated Glycemic Index chart and the recipes from the cooking demonstration.
Price: $45 + processing fee
A portion of the proceeds go towards community events.
