Love is one of our most powerful and versatile emotions. It can awaken the creative flow we need to achieve our most treasured goals. It can strengthen our commitment when navigating tough times. Love can even be a life philosophy as in Rumi’s encouragement to “let the beauty of what you love be what you do”.
There are many reasons to be in love with love. But sometimes life’s demands and difficulties leave us feeling that love is out of reach.
This can happen when our work becomes a burden instead of a joy. It can happen when life feels more like one very long, stressful day than moments full of possibility. It can happen when achieving our goals is a growing to-do list instead of a chance to create a meaningful impact.
Each person reading this list could probably describe a time when the love that keeps them thriving felt unavailable. So, how do we reignite this power source?
In this interactive workshop, love will be our guide through stressful times and back to our sense of safety, hope, and purpose. Learn simple strategies to make friends with your emotions. Enhance your emotional energy so that you have the fuel to cultivate and sustain a life that you love living.
We’ll end the evening resting in love with a brief Yoga Nidra practice. This practice offers stress relief and supports the integration of the strategies that we explore during the workshop. It can be done seated or reclining.
Participants are welcome to bring a journal, pen, and your favorite shawl or blanket so that you can get comfortable and cozy in our Yoga Nidra practice.
