Event Recap
We invite you to join us for a special evening of cooking demonstrations, tastings, and nutritional tips and strategies for promoting well-being during this holiday season. Carolyn Twitchell, a passionate cook and certified Optavia health and wellness coach, has a mission to make healthy cooking not only nutritious but also simple and easy to prepare. She has a genuine love for bringing small groups together to explore new ways to infuse health into familiar dishes.
Carolyn will be joined by the talented Chef Pascale Brunet, and together, they will put a creative, nutritious spin on some beloved Thanksgiving classics. In this cooking demonstration, you will discover dishes that are both nutritious and hassle-free, perfect for saving time and enhancing your well-being during the holiday season. They'll share cooking strategies and tips to help you prepare scrumptious and health-conscious meals for your friends and family.
We're all about celebrating the season's bounty, and that's why Carolyn and Chef Pascale will be incorporating local and seasonal ingredients into a tantalizing tasting menu. You can look forward to sampling an array of hors d’oeuvres, soul-warming soups, refreshing salads, and delectable desserts. The culinary experience will be further elevated by organic wines and seasonal mocktails, promoting a well-rounded approach to mindful eating and the joy of social connection.
This gathering isn't just about food; it's an opportunity to reflect collectively on the themes of gathering, gratitude, and abundance, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach to wellness. As we prepare these healthy, seasonally-inspired dishes, you'll be immersed in an atmosphere of well-being and community. And when the cooking is done, you can settle in and relish not only the beautiful space and wonderful company but also take away valuable strategies and tips to navigate the holiday season with confidence. Plus, every participant will leave with a full recipe guide for the dishes prepared, ensuring you can recreate them at home.
Whether you come solo, with a friend, or with a group, this event is designed to create a welcoming space for well-being and healthy cooking and we can't wait to share it with you.
A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair.
