Event Recap

Loopwell Author Series: What dogs can teach us about living well.

This book is a heartwarming tribute to the healing power of dogs. In her veterinary oncology practice, Dr. Renee Alsarraf witnesses the deep bond between pets and their people. While we teach dogs to “sit” and “stay,” they offer us profound life lessons in return

Each chapter shares a unique patient story, highlighting what families or Dr. Alsarraf herself learned from their dogs. Blended with her own journey as a working mom overcoming cancer, some stories will make you laugh, others will move you. Overall, it's an uplifting tribute to the strength, love, and wisdom dogs bring into our lives.

In this workshop, we will discuss:

1. Mindfulness through the eyes of our four-legged friends

2. The benefits of being a pack animal

3. The sanctity of self-care

4. Living without judgement

5. And how dogs model what a best friend should be

The hope is that you leave this workshop feeling happier with an improved well-being.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend and receive a special gift bag from our sponsor Get Joy Food.
