About Cathy
Cathy Livingstone, a Glen Ridge mom with a career in sales and training, has been fascinated by the “grandma naming trend” that began with the Baby Boomer generation becoming grandparents. Her own mother, an Irish-Catholic woman with an Italian last name, chose the traditional Yiddish or Jewish grandma name “Bubbe.” She was determined to make it her own, and thus “Bubbe Caputo” was born.
Cathy believes that grandmas and grandpas are crucial in their grandchildren’s lives. They should be celebrated, congratulated, and supported on their grandparenthood journey. Cathy’s newly published books celebrate grandparents and serve as the only resource for new grandparents to choose their unique grandparent name.
